2025 Cadillac LYRIQ

The 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ provides the luxury, technology, and comfort you expect in a Cadillac, with all the benefits of clean energy from its cutting-edge EV technology. We’re going to take a look at some of the LYRIQ’s innovative features.

Massive Display Screen

A huge 33″ curved LED touchscreen is the centerpiece of your dashboard. The left section of the screen shows all driver assistance information, including current speed and battery range. The right section allows you to access your infotainment system. Screen resolution is 9k, with over one billion colors, providing even crisper and clearer images than an Ultra HD television, which only reaches 8k definition.

Large infotainment screen icons make it easy to navigate the infotainment system, and you can assign your six most frequently used apps to the display tray. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity are installed, as well as Google built-in, to keep you connected to the digital world. The infotainment also works completely hands-free by simply using the press-to-talk button on your steering wheel.

Powering Your Home

We all know about home chargers that recharge an EV’s battery, but the LYRIQ takes this to the next level by powering your home during an emergency power outage. The LYRIQ is powered by a 102.0 kWh Ultium EV battery, rated by the EPA at up to 326 miles between charges, and this power is available to keep your lights on when needed by adding V2H (Vehicle-to-Home) connectivity to your house.

V2H requires installing a bidirectional GM Energy PowerShift Charger and a GM Energy V2H Enablement Kit in your home. Your trusty LYRIQ will then turn into a generator that will keep your house powered for up to 21 days on a fully charged battery. Once the power comes back on, the charger switches to recharging your LYRIQ’s battery.

Advanced Safety Systems

Every LYRIQ includes the Cadillac Smart System, a range of advanced safety features that help to keep you safe on the road. These systems continually scan the area around your vehicle and instantly alert you to potential danger. They do this using radar, sonar, and dedicated cameras, and provide both visual and audio warnings so you can avoid danger.

Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, for example, uses a specialized camera and radar to identify a vehicle ahead of you. The radar determines the distance from your front bumper to the other vehicle, then the system compares this to your speed to determine a possible collision risk. It warns you if you need to slow down and will automatically bring your LYRIQ to a stop if required to prevent an accident.
